Ahead of the march, the APC USA alleged there was  no doubt the "Change Mandate” freely given to President Muhammadu Buhari was under threat of hijack by proponents of "business as usual."

“Consequently, we are calling on Nigerians to come out in-mass to match against corruption. Never again shall we allow minority few toy with our destiny,” the organisation stated.

The march comes amid concern corruption was stifling the country’s development.

The fight against such crimes was central to Buhari’s election campaign.
