Abuja - The National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled for Friday is expected to adopt a proposal by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) regarding the party’s primary elections, reports Daily Trust.
The proposal, if adopted, would see the party bringing forward its convention from December to November.
The shift has been proposed is allow for reconciliation among aggrieved members over the outcome of the primaries.

The meeting is also expected to ratify the proposal to amend the articles of the party’s constitution.
If successfully adopted by the NEC, the proposal on the amendment of the party’s constitution is expected to be tabled before members at an extra-ordinary convention for ratification.
