Abuja - Barely 48 hours after former Deputy Minority Whip, Mohammed Garba Datti, turned down the chairmanship of the House of Representatives standing Committee on Solid Minerals, two other members on Thursday rejected their appointments, reports New Telegraph.
While Sunday Adepoju rejected his appointment as the Deputy Chairman, Committee on Special Duties, Hassan Saleh declined the offer of the Deputy Chairmanship of the committee on local content.

Adepoju, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Kogi State, is a member of the APC Loyalists Group that coordinated Femi Gbajabiamila’s Speakership campaign.
Gbajabiamila had said that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara did not consult him prior to the announcement of the Chairmen of the standing committees.
Saleh, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party from Benue State, rejected the offer because he was made deputy to a first term member, Hon. Emmanuel Okon, also of the PDP.
