Abuja - About 28 Chairmen of the state chapters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday held an emergency meeting in order to take decisions on urgent matters affecting the party, reports Thisday.
The meeting was convened to among others, deliberate on the crisis in the National Assembly and to articulate positions, which would be presented to the party’s national leadership.

The meeting, which was held at a hotel located in Zone 6 area of Abuja, dragged on till the wee hours of Thursday.
The chairmen had previously met on Wednesday and supported the stand taken by President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Chairman of the party, John Odigie Oyegun on the crisis in the National Assembly.
