20 July 2015, 07:55Okoro Chinedu

Lagos - The All Progressives Congress United States of America (APC USA) International Secretariat has congratulated the Muslim community on the completion of the fasting of the month of Ramadan.

The organisation felicitated with them as they celebrated the Eidul-Fitri festival, urging them to take the blessings of the month beyond Ramadan.

“APC USA International Secretariat acknowledges the essentialities for Muslims to imbibe righteousness and thereby striving to please God by performing acts which positively affect the welfare of others and enhancing all acts of worship,” the organisation added.

APC USA appealed to Muslims, to intensify their support for the needy even after the completion of the fasting.

It urged Muslims be good examples in the society today, invest their wealth in economic activities and progressive human development as well as considering the less privileged to a very large extent.

In conclusion the organisation asked Nigerians to continue to be law-abiding, keep loving one another, be their brothers’ keepers and do more of the country’s founding fathers and leaders such as Sir Ahmadu Bello Sadaunan Sokoto, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Alh Tafawa Balewa and Chief Nnamdi Azikiwe.
