Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of disobeying an order by the Rivers State Election Tribunal requesting the electoral body to allow the party inspect election materials used in the April 11 governorship election in the state, reports Sun
At the resumed hearing of the petition filed by the party on Monday, counsel to the party, Akin Olujimi (SAN) informed the court that INEC declined to make the materials available for inspection, in total disobedience to an earlier order of the Tribunal in that direction.

He accused INEC of bias by denying the party access to materials used for the polls.
The tribunal had during its last hearing, granted a motion exparte filed on June 8, 2015 by the APC and its candidate, Dakuku Petersides, allowing the inspection of Card Readers and records of electoral materials used in all the polling units in the state.
