Yola - The national leadership and the Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have pleaded with the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu to reconsider his decision to dump the party for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ribadu, the Presidential Candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria in the 2011 election, has concluded arrangements to defect to the ruling PDP on or before Friday, reports The Nation.

The APC leadership has been having series of meeting with him and his close associates in order to convince Ribadu to shelve such plan.
The switch in party is to enable Ribadu secure the PDP gubernatorial ticket and contest the Adamawa State governorship election slated for October 11.
