APC blasts Fayemi, Oni for abandoning party

11 September 2015, 10:04

Ado Ekiti -  Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State have blasted three former governors of the state, reports Thisday.

The former governors, who are also members of the party, were accused of  abandoning the party when they were needed most.

The former governors are Niyi Adebayo, Segun Oni and the immediate past governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.

The leaders accused the trio of not cooperating among themselves to give the party the desired leadership and sense of direction.

The leaders, who met at the house of another former governor of the state, Bamidele Olumilua, said the inaction of the three former governors has resulted in the nose-diving fortune of the party in the state.

The leaders, however, expressed their absolute trust in the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, both at the regional and national levels of APC.
