Lagos - The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday cleared 12 aspirants intending to succeed Governor Babatunde Fashola in 2015, reports The Nation.
The aspirants were certified in Ikoyi for the party’s governorship primaries, which will be held on Thursday.

Those cleared by the party include the state Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Obafemi Hamzat , the Senate Minority Whip, Senator Ganiyu Solomon, the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, former Accountant-General of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode and former Commissioner for Health, Dr. Leke Pitan.
Others are former Chief Detail to Senator Bola Tinubu, Tayo Ayinde, former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Olasupo Shasore, former Commissioner for Special Duties, Dr. Tola Kasali and Adetokuno Wahab among other aspirants.
