APC clears 28 aspirants for Kogi governoship primary

Lokoja - The All Progressives Congress(APC) has cleared 28 aspirants to contest the August 29, 2015 governorship primary ‎of the party in Kogi State, reports New Telegraph.

The 28 aspirants were cleared after meeting the party’s requirements for the primary.

National Organising Secretary of the party, Senator Osita Izunaso, while presenting clearance certificates to the aspirants at the party headquarters in Abuja on Monday, said the number of contestants was an indication that Kogi was for APC.

The gubernatorial aspirants signed undertaking to be of good conduct, with their supporters in the entire process of the primaries and election.

Izunaso said the party insisted that aspirants must sign the undertaking in order to put the aspirants under check.
