APC denies plan to disrupt Alao-Akala’s declaration

Ibadan- The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has debunked claims that it is planning to disrupt the declaration of the gubernatorial ambition of former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala scheduled to hold in Ibadan on Thursday.

The party described the  allegation as baseless and unfounded., reports Leadership.

The party was reacting to a statement issued by a group known as Southern Nigerian Youth Forum (SNYF) which alleged that Governor Abiola Ajimobi and the ruling party in the state, APC has perfected plans to storm the venue of Alao-Akala’s declaration with some political thugs and disrupt the event.

Olawale Sadare,  APC’s director of publicity and strategy in Oyo State said the statement was a false alarm coming from people who have been rejected by majority of the Oyo people.
