Bauchi - The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State has debunked an alleged move by the state House of Assembly to impeach the state governor, Mohammed Abubakar, reports NewsDay.
The party said there was no basis for such an action, considering the harmonious relationship between the legislature and the executive arm of government.

Uba Nana, state Chairman of the party, who was reacting to alleged impeachment move on the governor said that there was no division in the party.
He noted that the allegations against the governor are the handwork of mischief makers who are threatening to destroy the image of the state and the party.
The chairman said the party will deal with any member who engages in acts of misconducts and anti-party activities.
