Leaders of the party in the state are worried and are calling on the national leadership of the party to take urgent steps to check what they described as the excesses of some governorship aspirants.
They warned that if the political antagonism brought about by the splitting of aspirants into camps was not checked, the party risked losing the election to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
