Kano - Some Kano State All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains have dissociated themselves from a resolution to back the aspiration of Kano Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso for president in the 2015, reports The Nation.
The leaders made this declaration on the heel of an alleged endorsement by some party leaders in the state, who called themselves state’s Elders Committee of the APC.

The chieftains said they are not aware of any elders committee of APC in the state.
In a statement jointly signed by Musa Umar, Garba Bala and Muktar Kwaru, the leaders said the endorsement is far from the truth because it was only the group loyal to the governor that endorsed him.
They said they have not endorsed any presidential candidate.
