Abuja - Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have oppose the nomination of Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State as the Deputy Chairman, Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), reports Vanguard.
The APC governors said the choice of Fayose by their Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterparts was ill-considered and unacceptable to them.
The APC governors noted that they are wary of the controversial governor and would not accept Fayose to such a sensitive position.

They wondered why the PDP thinks the Ekiti governor should be the choice for the Deputy Chairman of the Forum when they could not accept him as the chairman of their PDP Governors’ Forum.
They have asked their PDP counterparts to find a suitable replacement for Fayose.
