Abuja - The rescheduled Bayelsa State governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will hold on Tuesday, reports Daily Post.
The party had cancelled the previous primary due to some irregularities.
National Chairman of the APC, John Odigie Oyegun who announced the date on Monday at the end of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) meeting, said the NWC sees it as a duty to provide a level playing ground for all those who aspire to offices in this party.

He noted that that the process that led to last Tuesday’s primary could not meet the standards which the party has set for itself.
When asked to respond to the threat by the former governor of Bayelsa State and one of the aspirants seeking the ticket, Timipre Sylva, who claimed to have won the last primary election, the APC national chairman said that Sylva can go to court to seek redress.
