Lafia - Stanley Buba, Interim Chairman, Nasarawa State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), has warned members against making inflammatory and unguarded statements.
Buba told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Lafia on Monday that such unguarded statements were very inimical to party unity and cohesion.
Buba was reacting to a statement credited to Sani Bawa, a chieftain of the party in Nasarawa Local Government Area.
Bawa had alleged that there were sharp practises in the ongoing registration of party members in the area.
Buba described the allegation as very unfortunate, especially coming from a lawyer of high standing as he.
He warned against further similar statements as the party would sanction anyone who tried to undermine it irrespective of his or her of status.
The APC boss described the ongoing membership registration as a huge success, adding that the party would accommodate everyone willing to join it.
