Abuja - The presidential primaries/ convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which was initially scheduled to hold in Abuja has been shifted to Benin, reports Leadership.
The party decided to change the venue due the alleged hostility of the security agencies to the party which could cause avoidable problems during the event.

Other reasons cited by the party include difficulty in finding a suitable venue and other logistics.
The date for the convention, however, remains December 10.
