Yenogoa - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said it will not adopt any candidate for the forthcoming governorship election in Bayelsa State, reports Punch.
The party said its governorship ticket for the election in Bayelsa State later in the year is open to all aspirants willing to go through a strict primary election.

The party’s Bayelsa State Chairman, Tiwei Oruminighe, asked members of the party to disregard insinuations in some quarters that it would settle for a consensus candidate.
He noted that the party in the state will adhered strictly to what the national leadership of the party did during the party's presidential primary election.
