Abuja - The All Progressives Congress(APC) is plotting on wooing former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to its fold from the People’s democratic Party(PDP) reports Nigerian Bulletin.
Atiku, has been an on and off member of the ruling PDP, he left the party in 2007 for the now defunct Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN) to contest as presidential candidate, before returning to the PDP shortly before the presidential primaries of the PDP in 2010, which he lost to President Goodluck Jonathan.
Atiku was also a member of the rebellious PDP.
If APC succeeds in getting Atiku to defect, he would be joining five other governors from the PDP to have joined the opposition party.
