Abuja - The South-South zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has vowed to resist any attempt by President Goodluck Jonathan to intimidate Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, reports Information Nigeria.
The party’s National Vice-Chairman of the zone, Hilliard Etagbo, said the recent killing of Amaechi’s uncle pointed to the fact that the sole aim of the killers was to get at the governor.

He alleged that the Jonathan led administration has been targeting people close to the governor for harassment and elimination.
He noted that Jonathan was fighting a lost battle against Amaechi as the party has resolved to stand solidly behind the governor.
