Lokoja - Accreditation of the 926 delegates that will pick the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the November 21 election in Kogi has commenced.
A correspondent at the Confluence Stadium, venue of the primary election, reported that accreditation had started late at about 2.30 p.m.
He said the exercise was progressing peacefully with security agents posted at strategic positions around the stadium as at the time of filling the report.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, who is the Chairman of the electoral panel, had earlier in the day met with the three aspirants contesting the primary.
He assured them that his committee would conduct transparent, free and fair primary.
The three contestants are the incumbent governor Captain Idris Wada, Alhaji Isah Echocho and Moses Ametuo.
