Yola - Local government chairmen in Adamawa State have denied reports that they are planning to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) en -masse, reports Peoples Daily .
The chairmen were reacting to claims by Umar Rufai, chairman of Gombi Local Government, who decamped to the APC, that some of his colleagues would soon join him in the party.
State Chairman of Adamawa State chapter of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Sahabo Aliyu, said Rufai was on his own.
