Yola - Ahead of the October 11 governorship election in Adamawa State, the two leading candidates in the election have picked their running mates.
While the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri picked Barrister Afremu Jingi, the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) candidate, Sen. Muhammad Jibrillah Bindow selected Martin Babale, reports Daily Trust.

The choice of the deputies were taken after due consultations with all
stakeholders in the two parties and the need to create a balance since
the two candidates are from the same North senatorial zone of the
Jingi is from Central Senatorial zone while Babale is from the South senatorial zone.
