Aggrieved APC members threaten to recall two senators

Bauchi - Some aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State have urged two senators from the state to apologise to the people who voted for them or face recall, reports Daily Trust.

The senators are Senator Ali Wakili, representing Bauchi South, and Senator Isah Hamma Misau of Bauchi Central.

The aggrieved members accused the two senators of going against the party;s wish by supporting the emergence of Bukola Saraki as the Senate President.

Spokesperson of the aggrieved APC members, Aliyu Sa’idu Abubakar,said the senators must apologise for their actions.

Abubakar, a former Bauchi State chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC), noted that the recall option will be taken if the senators refused to apologise

The senators have, however, dismissed the threat

They described those calling for their recall as agents of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
