Abuja - Some aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have called on the leadership of the party to remove Cairo Ojougboh as the party’s South-south vice chairman, reports The Nation.
The aggrieved members on Monday staged a protest at the headquarters of the party over the continued stay of Ojougboh in office.
The aggrieved members under the aegis of the New Peoples Democratic Party Reformation Coalition said the continued stay of Ojougboh as the party’s South south vice chairman would destroy the party

The group accused Ojougboh of planning to hijack the party in the zone for his personal interest.
The group’s National Coordinator, Danelsi Momoh, said if the activities of Ojougboh in the South-south was not checked, it would weaken the operations of PDP.
