Abuja - The Presidency on Monday said all the 36 ministerial nominees screened by the Senate would be assigned portfolios, reports Daily Trust.
President Muhammadu Buhari was reported to have said that not all the 36 nominees would be ministers as some of them would only sit in the cabinet in order to meet the constitutional provision, which stipulates that each state of the federation must have a representative in the cabinet.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, while reacting to the news, said President Buhari was quoted wrongly.
He stated that all the 36 minister will be given portfolios
He noted that what the President meant was that not all the ministers would have full control of the ministries as some of them will be Minister of State.
