Lagos - The Rivers State Chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) blamed Governor Chibuike Amaechi for the violent inter-party clashes that rocked the state earlier this week.
About 10 people sustained injuries following clashes between PDP supporters and Amaechi's All Progressives Congress followers during the governor's Meet the People Tour.
PDP, through a statement signed by Jerry Needam, Special Adviser on Media to the State Chairman, Prince Felix Obuah, said it had been vindicated for raising alarm about the campaign.

"We wish to appeal that all those used by Gov Amaechi and his cohorts to perpetrate this evil be fished out and prosecuted accordingly."
