Abuja - The screening of the immediate former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, by the Senate for the position of a minister has been deferred.
Amaechi was among those listed for screening on Wednesday by the Senate.
However, following the failure of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions to conclude its findings on the allegations of fraud brought against Amaechi, the screening was postponed.
