Port Harcourt - The minister of state for Education, Nyesom Wike has boasted that six serving commissioners in the administration of Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi will resign their positions by December and defect to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
The commissioners are presently talking to the state leadership of the PDP on their moves, reports ThisDay.
Wike said the affected commissioners would have before their resignation from the state executive council made enough money to sustain themselves and their families.
He, however, said it would be premature to disclose the names of the commissioners for fear of be sacked by Amaechi.
