Lagos - Former Accountant General of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode on Friday emerged the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2015 gubernatorial election, reports The Nation.
Ambode pulled the highest number of votes at the party’s primary election held on Thursday at Onikan stadium.

3 000 out of the over 6 0000 delegates selected him as their choice for the election.
Commissioner for Works Qadiri Hamzat came second with 1 201 votes, Ganiu Solomon came 3rd with 270 votes, Adeyemi Ikuforiji 4th with 182 votes, Olasupo Shashore came 5th scoring 121 while Dr. Leke Pitan occupied 6th position having scored 112 votes.
