Amosun sends list of commissioners to Assembly

Abeokuta - Governor Ibikunle Amosun has sent a list containing the names of new commissioners-nominees  to the Ogun State House of Assembly, seeking its approval.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Suraj Adekunbi who read the letter at the plenary of the Assembly, informed the members that the governor has written to seek their support for the confirmation of the nominees.

The governor’s list contained names of five former commissioners which include former commissioner for finance; Kemi Adeosun, former commissioner of agriculture, Ronke Sofekun, former commissioner of local government and Chieftains affairs, Bashorun Muyiwa Oladipo and former commissioner for works and infrastructure, Arch. Olamilekan Adegbite.

Others who were former commissioners that made the list were former commissioners for commerce and culture and tourism , Otunba Bimbo  Ashiru and Yewande Amusan respectively.

Those whose names were on the list include; Arch. Segun Abiodun, Jide Ojuko, Sunday Segun Bamiwola, Dr. Babatunde Ipaye, Bolaji Oyeleye, Barr. Leke Adewolu, Folabi Afuape, Gbenga Adeosun,  Kolawole Wasiu Lawal and Olumide Ayeni.
