Anambra PPA guber candidate congratulates Obiano

18 March 2014, 17:19

Awka - The gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Progressive Alliance in the November 16 governorship poll in Anambra, Godwin Ezeemo, on Monday congratulated Governor Willie Obiano for his inauguration.

Ezeemo said that the election that brought in the administration of Obiano was credible and peaceful.

He urged the governor to ensure the provision of adequate social security for all irrespective of political affiliation.

Ezeemo also called on Obiano to use all the resources available to him to give governance a human face as the masses desired good governance.

According to him, Anambra is a state blessed with numerous human and material resources enough to take the state to the next levels.

"Anambra is the heart beat of the easterners by virtue of personalities from the state. Nothing, absolutely nothing, will be hard to achieve if all resources are pulled together for the common good.

“I will ask the governor to put behind all that happened during electioneering and pick the egg heads in the state that will help him pilot the affairs of the state creditably.

“The time has come for us all to join hands with our leader to move our dear state forward,’’ he said.

Ezeemo said there were hopes in areas of sustainability of structures due to the continuity of the APGA government in power.
