Osogbo - Tempers flared on Monday in Osogbo between lawyers representing Governor Rauf Aregbesola and counsel for the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore during the during the inspection of election materials used for the conduct of the August 9 governorship poll.
Both parties nearly exchanged blows in the process, reports NewsDay.

The altercation started when counsel for the governor, Daud Akinloye, rejected moves by the agents of the PDP to make photocopies of some materials used in the election.
He also requested to see the order obtained from the tribunal, which authorizes the inspection.
The request did not go down well with the counsel of Omisore, Kehinde Adesiyan.who lost his temper and stood up to challenge the request.
The argument almost degenerated into a fight as the duo moved closely to each other and abused each other.
