Yola - Former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, has denied having ambition to contest in the October 11 Adamawa governorship election, reports Leadership.
According to him, contesting again as the governor of Adamawa state will mean taking a step backward, having been elected to that position 15 years ago.
He said the suggestion that he was contesting in the election was unthinkable by virtue of the fact that he had been elected the nation’s second citizen in the past.
