Abuja - Former governor of Kogi State, Abubakar Audu on Monday picked nomination form to contest the Kogi State governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Punch.
Audu stormed the party's national secretariat with his teaming supporter to collect the form and to formally declare this interests to context the November governorship election.
Also on Audu’s entourage to the secretariat was the former Governor of Kano State and incumbent senator representing Kano Central in the Senate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Speaking shortly after picking his form, Audu said he came under intense pressure to run for the governorship position again.
He stated that his supporters who were calling on him to run for the position contributed N5.5m to him to purchase the nomination form.
The APC primary election is scheduled to hold on August 29, 2015
