Abuja – General Ibrahim Babangida, former Military President, refuted claims that he and President Goodluck Jonathan were on bad terms, AllAfrica reports.
A newspaper report claimed that Babangida turned the president away from his house for early morning breakfast before the commencement of the Islamic fast. Babangida released a statement claiming this was false and he was always willing to meet with Jonathan to order to build the nation.
Last Tuesday, President Jonathan released a statement denying the story and insisting upon an apology.
