Abeokuta - Twenty-four hours after supporters of the winner of the Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP governorship primary, Gboyega Isiaka, protested the alleged attempt to withdraw his mandate, a group loyal to a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, has described Isiaka as a fake candidate, reports Vanguard.
The group, the Dimeji Bankole Movement (DBM), a political group drumming support for the governorship aspiration of Bankole, said Isiaka was a product of an unauthorised primary.
The group faulted Monday’s protest by supporters of Isiaka at the PDP state secretariat in Abeokuta, saying it was orchestrated to cause confusion within the party.
