Yenagoa - Some chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State have dissociated themselves from the suit instituted by a faction of the party in the state against the National Chairman of the party, John Oyegun, reports Punch.
Members of a faction of the party in the state had dragged Oyegun to court over alleged violation of their rights.
Members of the faction were expelled from the party over alleged anti- party activities.

But in a swift reaction to the suit, some of those listed as plaintiffs in the suit denied involvement in the legal action.
The members, who belong to the Legacy Group declared their loyalty to the leadership of the party at the state and national levels.
They denied being part of the plot to destabilise the APC in Bayelsa through a court action.
