Abuja - The procedure for adopting the 2015 presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently causing disaffection among the major presidential candidates, reports Vanguard.
The candidates are divided over whether the party should adopt a consensus candidate or conduct primaries for the adoption of the presidential candidate for the party.

Buhari and his supports are agitating for either a consensus arrangement or direct primary election that will involve all the party members casting their votes to decide who wins the party's nomination.
On the other hand, the Atiku camp are calling Modified Direct Primary that would involve about 20 000 delegates choosing the party candidate.
