Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday faulted the decision of the former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Attahiru Jega to handover the leadership of the commission to Ahmed Wali, reports Vanguard..
Jega , whose tenure as the INEC Chairman expired on Tuesday, handed over to Wali as Acting Chairman.

Hours after Jega handed over to Wali, the President replaced Wali with another national commissioner, Amina Bala Zakari.
The President decided to appoint Zakari as the acting head of the commission because she is the most senior national commissioner in INEC.
She will oversee the commission until the appointment of a substantive Chairman.
