Makurdi - President Muhammadu Buhari has waded into the crisis rocking the Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Daily Post.
Buhari’s intervention in the crisis has saved Governor Samuel Ortom from losing his seat.
Buhari has ordered all the aggrieved party members in the state challenging the eligibility of Ortom as the duly nominated APC governorship candidate to sheath their swords.

The aggrieved party members have graciously agreed to discontinue with their cases in court.
Buhari has equally constituted a Reconciliation Committee to look at all the grievances of the aggrieved members.
Members of the committee include Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, Governors: Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto); Simon Lalong (Plateau) and Tanko Al-Makura (Nasarawa).
