Buhari won’t respect his ministers – PDP

29 September 2015, 12:09

Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari will not respect those he will appoint as ministers, reports Punch.

The party said President Buhari never intended to appoint ministers but rather prefers to run a monocracy.

National Publicity Secretary of the party, Olisa Metuh, who made this known at a news conference in Abuja on Monday, noted that the President’s promise to appoint ministers was made under duress, adding that he would prefer to ride alone.

He stated that Buhari’s disposition to run his government alone was the reason why he had been shifting the dates when he would appoint members of his cabinet.

He noted that the President will not respect his appointed ministers because they will be of no value to them.

He alleged that because of the President’s disposition, those to be appointed ministers would not be respected by Buhari.
