Lokoja - A businessman, Mr Frank Onaji
has declared his intention to contest the Nov. 21 governorship election in Kogi
Onaji in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN)
in Lokoja on Wednesday said that he had already picked his nomination form to
contest the coming primary of the Progressive People Alliance ( PPA).
The aspirant, who served as Special Assistant on sports and
youth development to former Gov.Ibrahim Idris said that his mission was to
bring about unity, equity and justice for a true change in the life of the

He said that he would develop the sports,
tourism,agriculture and solid mineral resources sectors to create jobs and
wealth for the citizens of the state.
The PPA governorship aspirants also said that he would
re-position the education sector from primary to tertiary level, and make
education free and compulsory up to secondary school level.
Onaji appealed to the leadership of the party to allow a
free level playing ground during the party’s governorship primary holding on
Sept. 15, to ensure cohesion and peace in the party.
He also urged delegates to the primary not to sell their
votes, saying that they should consider the interest of the state by voting for
a capable and credible person as the governorship candidate of the party.
