Abuja - The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) has commenced investigations into the accounts of some senators loyal to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, reports NewsDay.
The pro- Saraki senators, who are being investigated were those that accompanied Saraki to the the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) when he was arraigned last Tuesday.
27 pro- Saraki senators are currently being probed.

The CCB activated the probe following a scrutiny of the records of the concerned senators.
The bureau has started looking into the contents of the forms submitted by the senators to look for loopholes.
Some of the senators sighted at the tribunal included the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekwetemadu, Senators Aliyu Wamakko, Kabiru Gaya, Tayo Alasoadura, Gilbert Nnaji, Samuel Anyawu, Foster Ogola Sonni Ogbuoji and Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi.
