Rivers - Rivers State House of Assembly Leader Chidi Lloyd has been slammed with a six-count charge by the police over the crisis in the House, Vanguard reports.
Lloyd is expected to be taken before a Magistrate’s Court in Port Harcourt, the state capital, today.
It was gathered yesterday that the charges filed against him include conspiracy, attempted murder, and assault.
The police, however, denied allegations by Rivers State lawmakers that the Majority Leader, was tortured and maltreated while in Abuja for interrogation.
