To actualize the move, the presidency has already constituted a powerful group that would help seal the deal, reports Peoples Daily.
The first stage of the plot will be to critically scrutinize the governor’s records as Minister at the Ministry of Defense, Army Pension and various accounts of Kano state Ministries of Finance, Local Govt Affairs, Works and office of the Accountant General.
The Presidency has already written a letter of request to the office of the Accountant General of the Federation demanding that all the local government monies released to the state be made available to the group.

The next stage is to reach out to disaffected state legislators who will, in turn, begin impeachment proceedings after past ‘financial misdeeds’ of the governor have been unearthed.
