Abuja - Former Federal Minister of Information and elder statesman, Edwin Clark on Wednesday disclosed that he is no longer a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports Punch.
Clark, who was a staunch supporter of former President Goodluck Jonathan, however, said he would not join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Clark,who spoke in Abuja on Wednesday when a group, Think Nigeria First Initiative, paid him a courtesy call in his Abuja residence, said he wishes to remain an elder statesman and a leader in the country.
He said he would now talk on any issue as an elder statesman.
On Jonathan, Clark said the former President meant well for the country but lacked the will power to tackle corrupt politicians.
The elder statesman, who reiterated his support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s quest to fight corruption, urged people to support him.
