Akure - Some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo have vowed to resist any attempt by Governor Olusegun Mimiko to hijack the party in the state, reports New Telegraph.
The members, who were reacting to the defection of the Mimiko from the Labour Party to the PDP on Thursday, said they will do all they can within the law to protect the structures of the party at ward, local and state levels.

The members ,while welcoming the Governor back into the party, said his defection may spell doom for the party if not well managed.
Fatai Adams, Deputy Chairman of the party in the state noted that any attempt by the governor to dismantle the party structures may lead to exodus of members who have toiled day and night to build the party to a virile platform.
