Lagos - Aggrieved National Executive Committee members of the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) have given the National Chairman of the party, Dr. Fredrick Fasehun, an ultimatum to retrace his steps of face sack, reports Punch.
They accused Fasehun of steering the party in a direction different from the philosophy of late Obafemi Awolowo, who founded the UPN during the Second Republic.
Bari Salau, National Publicity Secretary of the party, said Fasehun was running the party like the Odua Peoples Congress (OPC) instead of running it in a democratic manner.
He noted that Fasehun was not a democrat but only believed in imposition.
